Hi. Nice to see ya :)
My name is Juniper
(Pictured on your right)
Welcome to my website.
I've been musicking a while now,
and I'm still learning.
I made this place as a log...?
a diary? a time capsule?
Whatever. It's here now.
As are you!
Keep scrolling.
Maybe you'll find something you like.
I sing with a band, Ego Death Birthday Girl.
We make piano-driven alt-pop music.
We've not officially announced ourselves yet,
but you can follow our Instagram for exciting 2026 updates.
Unless you found this place my accident,
There's a good chance you knew me as a DJ
Before long covid hung my headphones up for me.
Sometimes, people ask me where they can hear my tracks.
For a long time the only answer was "at my shows".
Maybe one day I'll put them up for streaming,
but for now I figured this would be an ok middle ground.
You can download mp3s for JUNIPR originals below.
>> JUNIPR - Head Empty No Thoughts.mp3
>> JUNIPR* - Lovebomb (feat. Szyko).mp3
>> JUNIPR** - I Am The Prize (feat. Latos Xx).mp3
* Lyrics co-written with Beth Munroe
** Lyrics co-written with Sophie Latos
For copyright reasons I'm not posting my bootleg
remixes, edits or covers here, but those which
SoundCloud's copyright filter haven't caught are
available to listen to or download over there.
Besides dance music, I've also worked on tracks
for bands I've been in and a bunch of cool artists.
Some as writer, some as performer, some as producer.
Not all are on Spotify, but those that are, are below.
IDK why I'm writing in fours,
but it feels like I should commit to the bit.
While I'm here I might as well link out to my doodles,
which are something that I sit and do sometimes.
Actually y'know what, in for a penny...
I don't understand poetry but someone once
told me that they liked mine.
So sure, why not, let's put some poems on here.
You don't have to study music to do music, but I did.
I can't think how to present this without sounding pretentious
but I did some cool projects while I was studying for an MA,
so those can live here too.
One of them was an attempt at answering the question
"if the computer is an instrument, how do you write a score for it?"
the short answer I found was: flowcharts
the long answer that got me to the short answer is linked below.

>> Rosa Sweeting - Coronation Street Fighter [Soundcloud]
If you are inclined to perform your own recording please do so! I would very much like to hear it. Drop me a message on Instagram and I can add it to the list above.
Another, my final project of the course, explored how house & hyperpop
create social cohesion & experiences of pleasure in queer nightclubs.
This was a practice as research project; I'm linking the report below
but the first set of links above are just as much a part of the research output.
Maybe one day I'll have the confidence to upload
something I've written about music outside of being graded.
If there are no hyperlinks under this paragraph,
I'm not quite there yet.
>> [LINKS PENDING]
Projects I'm currently working on include
an alt-pop album of songs broadly about G-d and t4t love,
a spoken word space opera,
and surviving late capitalism with my humanity in tact.

If you like my work and want to support what I'm doing,
tell your friends about the stuff you like!
If you can donate to MSF or fiveforfive
I will not only appreciate it but also be your BFF <3
So yea to summarise:
Please enjoy this web 1.0 experience simulation.
Let me know if you find something cool!
Thank u for reading this far.
luv luv luv,
Juniper xo
